    Kala Utsav 2017 - Exhibition cum Sale

    Kala Utsav (Exhibition cum Sale) organised by 25 Budding Artist in the school premises today i.e 18.3.17.Six of the artworks were sold and 10% of the received amount was given as charity to evening school.

    Exposition Collective, a Group Art Show

    9 students of BVPS from class 9 to 12 participated in a professional art show conducted by Artizen Art Gallery.The show titled Exposition Collective was inagurated by eminent artist Ms Kavita Jaiswal on 5th December.The works of Ananya Ahuja, Priyanka Vohra, Raavee Malik, Priyasha Malik, Asmeet Kaur, Kanav Thakral, Vibhuti Sikand, Shachana Jhamb & Jigyasa Oberoi were exhibited for 8 days along side 26 professional artists at the Delhi based art gallery.The participation of the students was a part of the BVPS ART COLLECTIVE initiative of the school started to expose students and adults to art beyond the class rooms.The exhibition was given coverage in Hinduatan Times, Times of India and the internet as well.All the participants were awarded certificates and their work appriciated by the guests at the gallery.This is the first time school students have participated in a professional art show and the support of Ms. Rakhee who is the director & Ms Tripti Kochar who is the advisor of The Artizen Art Gallery is grately appreciated.

    II BVPS ART COLLECTIVE - Class : IX-XI

    It was held on 6 th August 2016. A total of 72 people participated in the experiential workshop. Students of classes 9th ,10th & 11th were taken to The National Gallery of Modern Art , Delhi as part of workshop for an exposure trip to understand various art works. The workshop gave an opportunity for an interactive session and helped the participants to understand the works of old masters like Raja Ravi Varma, Abanindranath Tagore, as well as modernists like Amrita Sher-Gil and Rabindranath Tagore. Students experienced art works from pre independence era to the present times. Key works observed ranged from miniature paintings, works of Jamini Roy, Souza, Raza, M F Husain, Tyed Mehta and Anjolie Ela Menon amongst several prominent art works. An experiential workshop was held after the gallery visit where the students and staff members created art work on the theme of Hope. The workshop was led by Ms Simmi Sikand, Ms Ravinder Kour and supported by Ms Anju Rewari & Ms Namita Malik.

    I BVPS ART COLLECTIVE - Class : XI-XII

    It was held on 23rd July 2016 where 52 people participated in the experiential workshop. Students of class 11th & 12th were taken to The National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi as part of workshop for an exposure trip to understand various art works. The workshop gave an opportunity for an interactive session and helped the participants to understand the works of old masters like Raja Ravi Varma, Abanindranath Tagore, as well as modernists like Amrita Sher-Gil and Rabindranath Tagore. Students experienced art works from pre independence era to the present times. Key works observed ranged from miniature paintings, works of Jamini Roy, Souza, Raza, M F Husain, Tyed Mehta and Anjolie Ela Menon amongst several prominent art works. An experiential workshop was held after the gallery visit where the students and staff members created art work on the theme of Love & Hope. The key point of the workshop was to express thoughts and experiences through colors and sketches. The workshop was led by Ms Neha Hooda, Ms Ravinder Kour and MsDivya Bajaj.
