This competition is organised in school for class KG to VIII.The following students bagged best entries for their sheet at school level and their sheets were sent at Regional Level .Regional Level comprises of 3 states namely Haryana , Punjab and Himachal Pardesh.

Republic Day Celebration

Republic Day Celebrations were held on 26 Jan'13.A Kavi Sammelan was organised and conducted by the students of Classes Nur - X.

Workshop For Parents

The school organized a Workshop For Parents on 22nd January'13.The honorary speaker Mr C S Sharma is a well known academician with teaching and research experience spanning 32 years at Sri ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. He discussed the role of parents in effective Career Planning and also Dealing With Adolescent Behavior.

Counselling & Guidance for Classes X to XII

The school organized a workshop on career Counselling & Guidance for Classes X to XII on 21st Jan'13.The honorary speaker Mr Ashwani Khosa has a rich experience of over 15 years in top corporate houses such as Country Inn, Tata AIG and Educomp Raffles Higher Education Ltd. He discussed the key aspects to be considered while choosing different career option.

6th Annual Sports Meet

Fun and frolic marked the day during the 6th Annual Sports Meet of Bal Vikas Progressive School which was presided over by Ms Mona Srinivas Deputy Commissioner of Panipat. The school premises were dotted with colorful flags, houses screens, best athletes posters and banners.
The cultural activities ranged from yoga exercises, Taekwondo, PT drill to ribbon dance, umbrella dance etc.
The students participated in the different events and bagged medals. The toppers of CBSE XII Board Examination were felicitated with cash prizes and momentous. The students who participated in District, state and National level were also awarded cash prizes. .
The Chairperson Ms Vasundhra Nath and the Principal Ms M Hooda game away the prizes to the winners. Tagore House won the cock House Trophy for the year 2012-13.

Ms Simmi Sikand has been awarded the "Khowaja Altaf Hussain Hali Panipati Art and Cultural Award" for her excellent effort in the field of art & craft by Hali Panipati Trust.Ms Anuradha Rishi,the famous painter and Mr Vishav Deepak Trikha,Deputy Director cum incharge of Kala Parishad Multi Art Cultural Centre KUK gave away the award.

Clean Environment Session : Students are always enconvaged to keep their classroom and environment clean.The teachers do the following riddle with the students:
Save Electricity Session : Students were told that we should switch off the fans and lights when these are not requied.
